One of the most aggravating issues I’ve faced with the Graphic Habit web site has been my AJAX breaking. There are links distributed all over this shopping cart system that I’m not using and when one of them is clicked a new page loads without all the special javascript triggers. At that point the site is pretty much unusable.

I made some updates today that neutralized the biggest offender. While testing to make sure nothing else had been disabled I realized that there aren’t many more links that need my attention. Then I spent about 5 minutes just navigating around the site and letting it do its thing. I even went through the entire checkout procedure up until the final okay – and everything just worked.

There are still important changes that need to be made before Graphic Habit is ready to launch online (like, oh, having more than one design to choose from), but today I realized that I’m much closer than I thought I was to finishing this project.

Now I’m scared.
