So athletes don’t feel bad

High School football is changing in Connecticut.
Seems the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference has decided that coaches whose teams win by more than 50 points are worth of suspension.
The new policy to suspend coaches who don’t reign in their teams in intended to promote sportsmanship and keep the losing team from feeling bad!!

The citizenship test

I thought this was interesting, what with all the fuss these days.
I talked to a guy on Sunday who was studying for citizenship. He knew a lot of facts and stuff I learned in school that I’ve just simply forgotten. It’s easy being born here…

You Passed the US Citizenship Test

Congratulations – you got 9 out [...]

The end of the end

I’m hurt, and I feel like crying, but I’ve cried too many tears for this already.

Snoop work

For the last few days I’ve been doing temp work at a maxillofacial surgical center in the desert. It happens to be the same place I visited to have my wisdom teeth taken out.
My job has been alphabetizing patient charts. Don’t ask me why. You’d think they would be in alphabetical order already. I don’t [...]

Bridge the age gap

Everyone holds stereotypes.
It doesn’t matter how good and fair you say you are, somewhere inside you is a stereotype or two that you refer to once in a while. They may be racial. They may not be gender-based. They may not regard anything that you ever see talked about in popular media or on talk [...]

Wii

Can I just tell you I’m excited for the Nintendo Wii? Yeah, I’m pretty excited!
What? You don’t know what the Wii is? You need to check it out! Make sure you watch the videos and you’ll catch the same fever I’ve got!
I haven’t bought a video game system in over 10 years (I think), but [...]
