I had my interview at the temp agency today. I didn’t know how open-and-shut it would be (and by that I mean “walk in, fill out paper work, ‘when can you start?’).

I pretty much rocked the office test though. I got a typing score of 58 words per minute with 1 error with a net score of 56.xx words per minute. I got 100% on the MS Word test and a 94% on the MS Excel test. I know the questions I missed too. I didn’t even know you could shrink 3 sheets down to fit on one page all from print preview. Oh well. Regardless … I rocked.

I told them I’d start next week, after I get back from Utah, but a few hours later they were calling me to see if I could do a 1-day job tomorrow. Sure. I guess I don’t have anything else to do.

Except for learn to tune our piano. My piano tuning kit came in today. It’s going to take me hours to get that thing done. You try tuning 88 keys using nothing but your ear and a tuning fork.
